After a little rain squal this morning, the day turned out beautiful!
Fishing was OK also but it was not easy once again....
Mustachio Richie, Jessie, Rich in the Bow, Shawn & Louis all had their 3 by days end with Lou taking the pool with a nice 5 pound Fluke. Once that hard outgoing came through the last hour, the bite was over. Started to drift at almost 2 knots! Good thing it was time to go!!
Tomorrow is the last day for the Monthly pool...Bill Venezia is leading with a 9 pound fish. Will see what happens with the wind in the AM, supposed to blow NE pretty good..

Much better conditions today for a light gang of customers.....Thanks again Weather Asses!!
Headed out to where we've been catching. Dave & Frank started things off with a couple nice keepers. Big Dave B fell right in line after changing positions from yesterday. Slugged away all day on some quality Fluke.
I got to toss a line trying to teach a bunch of Newbies the ropes, landed a double limit thinking of my Dad the whole time....Man that felt good!
Dave B, Super Dave, Frank and myself made the stick. Pool Fish was a beauty at 6 pounds caught by Jim who also had a Bonito, Sea Bass and a Turtle in the mix. Super Dave had a 5 pound Fluke, Frank and Dave B had a four pound fish in their catch. Couple doubles for the New guys and some nice Sea Bass.
Back at in the AM 7:30 Sailing.....Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.

Nice crew of Regulars came to play today......
I knew we had a short window of opportunity before it would start to get ugly with the East wind and the out going current. Headed back to where we found nice quality fish yesterday and it didn't disapoint. First drift couple guys had two keepers in the box.
Slugged away all day even though it was pretty dam cranky to say the least. Everyone hung in there and fished hard all day.
John, Bill V. & Richie had their three by days end with several guys landing 2 and a Bunch of Nice Sea Bass. Pool Fish went just under 6 pounds.
Will see what tomorrow brings as far as the weather....didn't like the swell though today! Aleve & a Cocktail hopefully makes the back pain go away.
Back at it in the AM....Capt. Ron
Headed out for a beauty of day today.......
Got set up on our first drift and the bite was on!
Some quality Fluke coming aboard, couple guys had two right off the bat....Like turning off the light, the bite died on the third drift! Went into search mode but couldn't find a drift for most of the day.
Worked a new area late power drifting and found some more keepers. By the end of the day Mike P. Sr, MikeyJr, Big Dave, Steve and Arnaldo had their three and then some in the cooler. Arnaldo took the pool with a nice 6.5 pound Fluke.
Several nice fish around the boat along with a few Big Sea Bass but it was not easy scrapping today!
Weather looks great for Monday. Back at it in the AM 7:30-3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10 Capt. Ron
Turned out to be a nice day on the water after a rainy start.....
Found life right off the bat all by ourselves, naturally that didn't last long. Slugged away all day with nice action, several guys had their 3 by days end, plenty of Sea Bass for the begginers with their keeper fluke in the mix. Pool fish just over 6 pounds.
Weather looks great for tomorrow....7:30am-3:00pm. Open Boat, No Reservations just come on down. Fare is $90, Rod Rental $10.
